Default Using the script to Kill Characters

I know for a long time when trying to fix CTDs caused by a character many peopple have tried to use the Kill_Character command and have failed - some have managed ot get to work (so it may be another of those wierd keyboard differences).

Recently when I was looking at what the script was doing in-game I found an example where the script had been used to kill a character.

Is this a command that only works in a script?

Also do we know that the command actually works? I only mention that as if the script does not really kill characters then that could cause problems later on.

It does work, and has worked loads, but I've removed named characters from being spawned, as you could still have a situation where a character was being spawned and adopted within the same turn if the faction was short of family members. Better just to make them all generals as is now the case in the SVN version.

    OK, I was just checking.

Someone was trying to delete a character that appeared to be causing a CTD and I had seen the command used when having a look through the commands that had been issued. They appear to have not entered the name correctly (they had a space between the first two parts of the name but an underscore between the second and third part of the name).
