Recommend me a laptop

I'd like some laptops built specifically for gaming to be recommended to me (but able to perform other normal functions), since I have little to no knowledge of what is good. Some specifications are a 17" screen (or around that), the weight and price are not an issue, something that will be able to handle games coming out in the near future and be able to run the latest ones well. Preferably an NVidia Card, the volume isn't that important since I use earphones, with 4 USB ports and without integrated components.

Yes i live in India. Well i really don't see the reason of asking it here but i have a friend that has a computer shop and i buy from him.

I have never bought from internet if that was your whole point and so i can't tell u where u could find a good deal.

I hope u don't live in northern India coz the southern guys are a bit ok from tricking foreigners to pay more etc.
And don't buy it without a local friend here.

But the thing is you are buying a laptop not computer parts so that won't affect you that much. If u live in a metro city like Mumbai etc then just go to like a Acer or Sony showroom buy the thing and u will be ok coz these are guys on company payroll so they can't trick u or charge u more than the price tag.

Well, I live in Pune so I may head over to Bombay for the weekend and check out a few showrooms. Though I doubt they'll have anything close to the specs I'd like.

Pune that's not good recently not long ago there was a bomb blast over there near the German bakery a few foreigners died.

Anyways what are u looking for coz i think u can find whatever u are looking for in Bombay.
If it was like 2-3 months ago i had a friend over there under training in the Military academy and he knows a lot about computers as well as we graduated from the same engg. college here in the north. But unfortunately he is in army now and posted in the Wild Northern-east part of the country.

Yeah u are right u won't find that laptop that MM linked above though one could import it(not that expensive that way)on special order but you gotta know the right people for that so just forget about that one.

If it's a ACER or a HP Laptop then u can find any model on it and they will provide u with the one u want and arrange it for you in 2-3 days tops if it's out of stock.
But if u have an Indian friend that could go with you and go all the talking then it would more better in discounts etc.

And about the Northesat it like that i mean there are no cannibals but they kill u brutally and many Indian soldiers die there on a daily basis land mines, traps, taking a Indian soldier prisoner and cutting his guts out and tie him to a tree and then wait for more soldiers to ambush, ing horrible situation over there.

However it may indeed be available in India mate but the laptop is very rare have you an ebay account and would you buy anything from ebay ?

That does look pretty good but I'm not too keen on the ATI chip, I'd rather go with NVidia. Thanks though, I'll definitely keep it in mind. I'd also prefer to buy it from the company rather than ebay, have had some lousy experiences with it.

MM is right better than integrated graphics that comes with Laptops but pretty much like crap when compared to dedicated ones.

Hmm, I'll be sure to avoid that then. And what are your thoughts on processors? Dual core or single core?
