But of course, feel free to mod Isengard like you want, no permission is needed for that. Just give credits if you use an existing unit and make "your own" unit out of it.
Good luck with that, I'm really looking forward to how your new generals and heroes look like.

    Regards

Features Please note that this is not meant insulting, but I plan to do this because the Isengard faction feels strange to me and I want to make it more appealing for the (Isengard) fans.

Amazing! Isengard has been may absolute favorite to play since i started with the game. A nice change would be warg heros, and more than one. I personally love the wargs but unlike other factions we can't have a general protected by them and a fast moving general with ancillaries would be a godsend. Sounds and portraits is an issue too so im glad you are addressing that! The skins for raiders should have included helmets (on the odd orc or so) to be more accurate with the lore of Isengard. Whats is your time line looking like for the completion of these tasks and what kind of help would you be looking for? =)

Thanks, I too felt that Isengard needed an adjustment to better represent the faction (just my opinion). For now I want to make only one hero unit with wargs. As for the Raiders, I have no other plans for them than using Brevi's units. I have no idea as to when this will be released since I have other projects to work on as well, help from a coder would be very much welcome (it would speed up the progress).

I believe I have read somewhere some time ago that there is a limited number of 7 for the number of cultures. TATW-vanilla uses right now:
    1. gondor
    2. northern_european
    3. southern_european
    4. greek
    5. eastern_european
    6. middle_eastern
So there is one left, but I do not exactly know if there any limitations associated with using another culture slot. One question that pops up: why did KK not seperate the middle_eastern culture for Harad & Rhun in the first place?

Simplicity maybe? And could you show me your source of information? I could've sworn that it was that you could only add one culture for both Rome: TW and Medieval 2.

The culture limit is 7, Ishan (who is a skilled coder) posted that somewhere on the forums and as far as I know there are no limitations to it (also see Baron Samedi's post).

Hardcoded limits of the engine (from docudemons):

    AgentTypes 12
    Building Trees 128
    Buildings in Tree 9
    Cultures, number of 7
    Factions 31
    Regions 200
    Resources, desc_sm_resources.txt 26
    Resources, Hidden 64
    Units in export_desc_units.txt 500

Anyway, good luck with your project, it sounds very promising!

I know my priorities are weird.

Wish you good luck with this.

Do you plan even some faction gameplay improvements, like emerging of Isengard faction or something like that?

    @Radboud
I'd love to see Isengard with its own music, in my mod mordor and isegard share the same music due to them having the same culture
p.s the link for my mod is in my sig

Yes, you're right (I believe they also called him Sharkey sometimes although I don't remember that from the books). However, in the movies Sharku is the orc general who gets sent by Saruman to intercept the travelling people of Rohan and he is named Sharku as far as I know (he is also the one who says about Aragorn : "He took a little tumble of the cliff"). So in short I'm using the movies as a reference.

For now I plan to do the changes I stated only, maybe for a later release and I will not make an emerging faction out of them.

Sounds interesting. Looking forward to it.

I would dare to suggest to use also uruk infantry and uruk banner from Brevi's reskin submod.
"When your opponent fears you, then's the moment when you give the fear its own rein, give it the time to work on him. Let it become terror. The terrified man fights himself. Eventually, he attacks in desperation. That is the most dangerous moment, but the terrified man can be trusted usually to make a fatal mistake."

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."
