It depends if it's a scripted then u have to go to the CS(Campaign_script.txt) and remove it from there.
Second is removing them from descr_events.txt file.
You can either delete the whole event or add a ";" without quotes to disable them.
Make a backup of the file before u fiddle with them.![]()
The Bulgarian rebellion is scripted.
Just remove the whole section from the campaign_script.
What file do I have to edit? There are many Campaign_script.txts
Do I have the edit the one located in \Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3\data\campaign\early (since I'm playing the Early campaign)? I removed the Bulgarian uprising script but it didn't work. The rebels still keep coming after turn 51.
Does removing the script only affect new campaigns or should it affect the current ones aswell?
Only new campaigns. The file you edited requires you to run SS_setup.exe again.
I only edit one campaign script, the one that's in medieval 2 total war/mods/SS6.3/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/campaign_script.txt.
All the changes i make take effect, too. I think it gets reset when you switch from late era to early era and vice versa, though i don't mind that.
If you edit SS6.3\data\campaign\early and late, changes will "stick" when you switch eras
