should be built in the cities, they were too complicated to build from scratch without the correct materials and skills around and needed some good precision (for the time) engineering due to the forces involved. Armies had to build them at home and carry them around with them, and that was really hard work.

In fact Edward I of England used one against Stirling castle. His army carried it all the way through England to Scotland, got to Stirling castle and started to set it up. The defenders of the castle saw it being built and immediately tried to surrender. Edward I basically deicided that they'd dragged the bloody thing all that way and there was no way he was going to stop using it, so he refused to accept the surrender until his men had had a few shots with the trebuchet

The beta with units will be enough to make the videos with.

This looks like the "heavy" version of the trebuche. The first one might be considered "light"

    Thanks to all!

Now the model is completed and it works in the battles, but we aren't still able to create a new skeleton.
We are perfect the trebuchet and i think tomorrow we'll post some nice screens!

You won't be able to create a new skeleton. Seige engines aren't editable. Its a very nice model but I don't think you'll be able to get it to animate perfectly if even partially realisticlly. Good luck with it.

If you asked Bwian of Metal Mayhem I'm sure he could create a new animation for it.
