    Default Help please!

    I have Windows 7
I have Rome gold so all latest patches
    I am using steam
install path C:\Desktop\RS2 i then copied folder in to steam/ common /rome total war gold
I have tried typing in the script on the launcher in steam to play as rome but it does not work. I tried also on the game launcher choosing rome Bi exe and selecting rome as a faction and this is what is comes up with.

you dont have roma surrectum 2 installed in the correct folder C:\Desktop\RS2
    Enginw: RomeTW-BI.exe faction campaign:-mod:play_Rome
    In total: RomeTW-BI.exe-mod:play_rome_show_err-nm-movie_cam

Hmm I think I just read in another thread that you shouldn't install on the desktop or the program files everywhere else should be fine.

I am fairly sure that if you are using Steam you need to install into the Steam folder itself. It should be clear in the Release Notes: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=386559 (see the heading 'Running RSII on Steam).

    Here's what worked for me.

Copy the WHOLE file, as is, out of the 'steamapps' folder for each iteration of RTW, on to your desktop. Use the installer to install the appropriate files in those folders and then copy the desktop versions back into steamapps.
Note: That's moving a lot of data - it takes a while.

BTW: Fantastic mod. Truly amazing work.
