Default Turn 36 England - Questions

I'm at turn 36 for england and I would be grateful for some feedback.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Based on the screen-shot, how am I doing for turn 36? Okay? Slow?

My guess is that I should go to war with france now. They are my allies and they actually like me (for whatever reason).

I was wondering if 2 stacks was enough to start the war?

What is the best way to deal with their 2 stacks?

Should I go for Paris right off the bat, or take out the 2 territories surrounding france?

    Any strategic suggestions?

I Recomend to you,use some Spys, they are very useful in your situation, know what units are the 2 Stacks, and make and army who have adventage against that type of unit.
Don't atack now,if you Atack,Send 2 Stacks against they Principal forces(These 2 stacks),1 against their best Castle,so you technically can't recluit Cavalry or Archers, when you done that, make them pay for Peace(offer the be your Vassal,or Lots of Money)

    Recommend to Atack:50 Turn With:3 - 4 Stacks(Those 2 Stacks,who atack the principal armies,must have some good Cavalry)

    ,de remotas naciones respetada

    ,tan soberbia, gallarda y belicosa,
que no ha sido por rey jamás regida
    ni a extranjero dominio sometida.

From my point of view the sooner you start war with France the better it is. Paris and Rehims are cities, big source of income.
The stack you show in screenshot is very good, when I play as England (playing vh, vh), I use to attack with a little less than the half of that force. You don't want to let your neighbor grow, they are very treacherous.

You're doing good, but I would not go after France right now. Keep a stack ready for when they backstab you, and with the other one go for Arhus and Hamburg. It's always good not to betray your ally, help keep a good reputation. Once you take Arhus and Hamburg, convert Caernarvon and Aberdeen to cities as you won't need them as castle anymore.

Careful converting Caernarvon in city, Portugal (and sometimes Spain) loves to attack that particular region for no reason whatsoever.

only on h/vh and spain + portugal are full of spear miltia and other light inf so they should be fairly easy to kill

You are doing fine. Just wait for the French tot attack you. They or Milan, Denmark or the HRE will attack you sooner or later.

I don't like you stack. I prefer a catapult instead of ballista because a catapult can fire over the heads of your troops. Billmen are a waste of money that should be replaced with armored swordmen asap.
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

so far you look like your doing good..u might want another stack depending on what kind of soldiers france has in its armies and if there are more armies that you cant see.
send out some spies and build up a ton of archers.. they do work.
i would just be ready for an attack by the HRE or Denmark once you are at war with france as they always are looking for a cheap shot.
once you take over france you will be unstoppable. move into central europe and italy but make sure you have the means to make and support a bunch of full stacks.
save spain for last unless they attack you and pretty much be ready for everyone to declare war on you.
thats what i did in my england campaign and i had so much money i literally didnt know what to do with it.
    good luck
