    Icon4 Unit modifications...

I am pretty new to modding but i know the DBeditor and when I open up DBeditor and open up the units_stats_land_tables to edit the euro_line_infantry_britain table and I edit for example the accuracy and then save and close. Then when I run Empire Total War I get an error in the first loading screen and then the game shuts down! Help is appreciated.

Yes, I am using DBEditor and I want to have 60 accuracy on the british line infantry, is that possible? If not, what are the max accuracy for a infantry?

I know that i 'm answering very ,very late but i know the answer for your problem.

The table that you have changed is located in patch.pack file. Unfortunately it is a VITAL file for Empire Total War so any errors and you will get a sweet CTD.

But you should download Pack File Manager (but not the newest 1.12 version) and edit the table once more.
Then change the pack file to "movie" - yes that's right.

    Save the changes.

Run the game and know all the changes will be visible for 100%.

If you have any problems sent my Private Message or feel free to ask.

So when i have edited the table in Pack File Manager I click "Save As..." and then rename it to "movie", then I load it in a mod manager?

    Yes, exactly as you said.

Save the changes in patch.pack file, save as "movie".

And launch the ETW via Mod Manager.

yeah that was going to be my next question about the pack files. also make sure that you rename the file after you edit it so it doesnt cause a conflict.
