I have a problem.
I can not run Medieval II
We need more than that.![]()
Disappointed me there Ishan matey..thought you would've sorted that one out with ease
Seriously though the techie folks will need the nature of the problem, Med game version, and computer specs, preferaby dxdiag details wrapped in a spoiler tag.
Theres my good deed for the day![]()
- If the game is starting then u have admin rights to execute the game's exe file so u are ok on that part.
- Then the sudden crash after clicking the icon could be that you have not installed your display driver(If other games are running well then no problem here so scratch that).
- Third would a DX9 driver issue make sure you have the latest version and it's updates(DX9.0c) installed.
- Also u have made a similar thread in the Medieval\shogun forum. So my question is do have MTW or M2TW.
- Coz you can't run MTW anymore on modern PC's with new Modern OS and New Graphics cards as this game is based on DX8.
- Lastly have u purchased the game disk or you have bought it on steam or downloaded it from torrent(which is illegal and generally corrupt).
yep, more info would be welcome: can you start the game? if so, when does it crash, or does it only lags, do you get any error codes etc..
Ahh that problem! very easy to solve:
Double click on Medieval 2 Icon
Press Play
Press Medieval 2 total War
and done![]()
Have your permissions set up for your login to run the game?
Tell me which of these steps you can take:
1. click on desktop icon and the first screen appears (splash), after a while a screen with several options (single player, multi player and so forth) appears
2. click on 'single player' and the next screen appears (faction screen)
3. click on 'start' and the next screen (loading screen) appears with the loading bar at the bottom
Moved. This is a tech issue.
Post your dxdiag. http://shoguntotalwar.yuku.com/topic...agnostics.html
Exactly where did you get Medieval2?
I hope not.
