Nice mod adding realism, great for immersion. Thanks!
this submod is compatile with other mods? for expample with Stainlees Steel
Sup people, first post here but been lurking for a while!
Love the Third Age, and especially all the great submods! This mod sounded great in theory, but for me it drops fps significantly (when there are lot of archers! I'm like "wut is this?" <-- dumb
I return here to check what the heck is wrong with this and see warnings of "killing the cpu"Man its my processor that lacks punch. What, my Phenom II x6? :O
Anyway, I enjoy this mod greatly.. only when there are smaller fights going on. Unfortunately I need to uninstall this little mod. BUT! I was even dumber when I didn't take any backups <.>
Could someone be so nice and upload vanilla files somewhere, like RS or MF as I'm just too lazy to uninstall the whole Third Age mod and reinstall it.
As I said, this is great mod and props for it, but it just sucks too much from CPUs (at least from mine)
Thank you and excuse me
EDIT. If there is a way to lighten the mod (like removing some effects from the projectiles or adding a projectile cap or something) that would be awesome! Actually, this is the first thing I want to try, as the mod is otherwise just fine!

is this mod compatable with CoW or Thera?
When you're pushed, killing is as easy as breathing.
some troubled times i have now, and it's been a while since i logged in.
So answers:
This mod has 4 versions available:
-Vanilla game,
-vanilla game with AUM mod
-FROME
-Barons Samedi game enhancements
And no other sub-mod is currently supported, But feel free to make new version, it really easy
@ n3007 , sorry, got no backups right now, but u can try to edit files on your own
1. Go to descr_effect_impacts.txt file
2. open it with a notepad
3. search for play_time and fade_time entries.
see those huge numbers after it? it is time during which, projectile will be displayed on the battlefield, u can assume it's in seconds, change it to like 100 (one hundred) or whatever else value u believe it fits. fool around with it and u will make a mod for yourself![]()
Are U increasing the number of projectiles of the missile units or just make them not disapear in the battlefield ?
TY and nice work !!!
Yes , i´m talkin´bout the number of the arrows , TX for the answer !!!
Does the FROME version work w/ FROM and SEE Installed? I tried but got a CTD on loading the game ( No Crash report/error, the loading screen popped up then went straight to the desktop)
Any advice would be great.
hey i downloaded for my vanilla tatw but i have the black axe on ground problem, can you help me?
I have some feedback for you Zax. I recently (about 1 month ago) installed your mod, using MOS, and it seemed to work properly and was very nice. The problem is that it really caused quite some lag. Now, the problem is not my machine, for it is almos up to date and runs shogun 2 at 95% graphics extremely well, but I think that is Medieval 2 engine relyng on a single core. Is there any ossible solution to this? Is this due to it not being the MOS version (unlikely)? After a while I sadly deleted your submod because it was too heavy ... and that's sad for it adds realism to battles ...

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:Si votre cannon tire, nos rochers n'en seront pas epouvantés
Waldesian fighter to French officer demanding surrender,
Battle of Balziglia, 24th of may, 1690
game engine limitations, each arrow, javelin etc. is another independent CAS model that must me kept on the batlefiled, 3k arrows is quite a lot, don't you agree? plus i warned everyone in first post
I am not complaining, just pointing out some limitations, and was aware of the possible drawbacks. I enjoyed very much your mod apart from that.

the game won't start with the MOS version, is it because i got the MOS expension project installed?
