Installation problem

So anyways i used the sean capone installer and i got the problem addressed here

Q: Help! While installing i get this message or similar:
"Create process failed; code 14001.
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstaling the application may fix this problem."
A: Install this 1mb package, with run-time c++ libraries: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en
After you've done that, make sure to go to Stainless Steel start menu group, and run setup.

But the problem is i've deleted the installation files and nothing is in the start menu for my SS. Do i have to redownload the installer, and if so, does it have to be the Sean Capone 3 part one?

I'd like to help but no idea if that alternative installer even sets entries in the start menu, most instructions are with the standard installer in mind.
What I can tell you is that it will be enough if you run ss_setup.exe (located in the stainless steel folder SS6.3, wherever that might be in your install.)
As for the start menu entries I suggest asking Sean Capone, as I can't provide answers for something I don't use myself

It has - but the alternative installer is a different story. That alternative most likely is a repackage of the installed files of the first (official) one - and the exe above is not needed for that as the alternative version consists of 3 exes.

If you don't have that, chances are you don't have other files... either you have to reuse the last part (guessing) or install the normal version. I can't upload the file at the moment, hopefully somone else will. But be prepared for the above scenario.
