The French. Fielding an army consisting of almost only cavalry against my longbowmen with stakes. Stupid idiots. I didn't even have a full stack. So it was a heroic victory.

I was going to add/edit a few more choices but I messed up on the poll stuff Still, I hope you all get the general idea....what do players think is the silliest and most stoopid looking army in Med2 ?

Its gotta be those S American buffoons in my book..I've seen some shockers in my time as a TW player, but those pyjama wearing plonkers are #1

For me it has to be the Hungarians and it's mainly due to their color of units in game(which is horrible).
Aztecs, Mayans and Inca's are pretty unique though and i don't think they look stupid or silly. Coz in real world a person feels fear or gets scared when he sees something unexpected and unimaginable so we could easily estimate the fear in the hearts of Spaniards when they first saw them.
Thats why Teutonic knights used horned Helmets to instill fear in the hearts of their foes.
Armies Knocking their swords on their shields, War crying, Roman legions walking in rhythm and beating their feet hard on the ground(sends shock waves and this way the heartbeat of the enemy increases causing the lost of stamina quickly) and more stuff like that.

Mongols and Timurids. Yeah I know, they ARE scary as a faction, but the units themselves are very very poorly done. They just look silly.

Same thing with those cavalry archers of the hungarians/russians with the pijamas.

As for the silly faction army, Denmark. Not because of their roster, but because I was expecting them to be viking like. "Viking" Raiders, Norse Axemen, Norse Swordsmen and Norse Archers = EPIC FAIL.

Now I know that by those times the viking culture was slowly disappearing but come on! In Rome they also gave Egypt the Pharaonic look when they were just another Greek faction.

They could have done the same here

The Incans aren't in the game. But the Aztecs, with the bow ties on their crotches, facepaint, faces on poles on their backs, pajamas, and mascot suits look absolutely ridiculous.

Aye, I messed up on the poll option stuff and meant those Tlax/Chici guys but couldnt figure out how to sort it all out.

I guess it shows how much (or rather little) attention I gave to games in S. America...I just couldnt take all that pyjama stuff seriously

I would have to say the Rus have the weirdest looking units, why because 1: There rus and 2: the unrealistic colour of those pathetic units.

Whilst I regard the Kingdoms expansion pack as well worth the money and a fine piece of work, the Americas campaign was ruined for me by the prospect of fighting all those stoopid looking Aztec/Mayan geezers.

Grown men in kiddies romper suits with giant lollipops shoved down their backsides aint my idea of a fearsome looking army.

Sword & Buckler men wading through and slicing up a bunch of wallies from a fancy dress party... total shocker
