One of the things I think really need to be changed about battle AI is its suicidal tactics of standing idle under fire. Whenever I have missile units and the computer doesn't, I can just shoot the computer's army down and the AI doesn't do anyting about it, except perhaps keep running there and back. This happens especially when my archers are standing on a hill or if the computer's army is defending a bridge. I tried changing the <attack-dist-multiplier> to a higher number, but I haven't noticed much difference. Does anyone know how to make the AI either attack human player's archers with its cavalry or move out of their range? This would be much more realistic and challenging.
