MTW Install problem

Hi when I try to install mediewal 2 Total War so i get a message from the computer cant find the install language. I send a picture.

Do you have or another copy of the game on your computer?

No. I have deleted all the file but one file or more can still be left.

In Vista or Win 7, check the users\username\appdata\roaming folder and delete what you find in there.

Also run a registry cleaner and restart your computer.

i have vista. I cant found any files.

Did you unhide all hidden files and folders in Folder Options first?

I just saw that you're installing the Gold version. What likely happening is for some reason the Kingdoms installer is having a problem.

Try this instead - browse the disc and look for the two individual installers on the Gold discs (IIRC M2 installer is on disc one and Kingdoms installer on two).

Then launch the individual launchers separately. You may be able to install M2 fine but still have problems with Kingdoms. After installing M2 use the updates you can find on the discs to patch M2 to 1.2 and then 1.3 and then try installing Kingdoms. Try this and get back to us. Good luck!

ok i will try. I have 3326 mb ram. I have tryed UAC. I can play ETW, RTW AND NTW.

Each of the Kingdoms campaigns should have their own installers.

How much ram do you have?

Your disc is dirty, scratched, fingerprints over the data, bad dvd, or your drive is bad.

Clean it and check it real good. See if you can try it in another drive and/or computer.

Yes thats true. My disk is dirty and like that. I have crack on the disk. I need to buy a new.
