Install KGCM twice

Is it possible to have two installations of KGCM, to have one "pure" version, and do some modding on the other one?

You would have two install everything, m2tw, kingdoms, kgcm on two different drives i believe.

I believe that you can simply copy the mod folder and rename it and then edit the desktop icon to reflect the new folder name. Create a new icon with the original folder name. Hope this isn't too confusing but should work.

Edit: You will also have to modify the cfg file in your new mod to reflect the folder name.

It's not confusing, but I don't wanna do all that work

I'll just mod it, then re-download if I mess it up

just make a copy of the data folder before modding then overwrite as needed. You really dont need to do the whole data folder but you can if you dont want to remember which files you are changing.
