Atlas minimod

This minimod for SS 6.3 makes the countries in the minimap to appear in a solid color, the way you see them in an atlas map. Rebels still have borders because each region is supposed to be an independent kingdom.



Just drop the file into your Medieval II Total War/mods/SS6.3/data folder, and say yes when asked to overwrite (save the original file first just in case).

Also it won't work for late era, if you modified the early era file. and vice versa.

Interesting. I usually do this myself in my own campaigns.
Since you've set the HRE as all-black, don't they show up in the mini-map as see-through when you don't play as them?

@soulblade: Yes, this is the early era version. Not late-era compatible!

@PerXX: Hmm, I didn't alter the basic color of the faction, just removed the borders. In my game it appears as you see it.

Well, a good idea, and two people having them. Happens.
As a side note caralampio did change the color sheme and eliminate secondary colors, so its not a identical re-release.
primary_colour red 0, green 0, blue 0

@Soulblade: With toggle_fow off, it is a little hard to see HRE but not because it is transparent, but because of the "fogginess" which also alters the color tone of other countries when they are in fog of war.

I had been working on the mod for a few weeks before, but I like to test stuff and simmer it before "publishing".

Imho deleting is overkill. Whats so bad about having 2 versions? Just suggestion you two might join forces, as far as I can see yours has the secondary colorscale "removed", his hasn't, some different colors... Why waste that

Winmerge, its works better when it comes to comparing files and folders. Other stuff notepad++ can do better
