What should be used for common unit names for the Reunited Kingdom?

1. Regular names like just 'Sergeants' and 'Spear Militia', and maybe some new high-tier units like 'Telcontar Knights' (idea of el Cid)
2. 'Western' in front of the name, like 'Western Militia Spearmen' and 'Western Sergeants' (idea of Patrician1)
3. Other names. Dunedain, Telcontar, Kingdom, Edain. If you vote for this option, please write which name you want.

Western sounds like the movie genre. I think that the suffix of the west is better, like Militia Spearmen of the west.

I actually prefer plain names for these generic units.

Gotta go with Dunedain to help distinguish them being different from other Men.

If you are going to make certain units like militia formed from the lesser men, then not having Dunedain names for them makes sense.

To be honest, the names you're going to be creating have to be concise. Having superfluous names just detracts from the unit and, at the same time, makes the units look similar on the recruitment que; 'Western Militia Spearmen, Western Militia Archers... Western Professional... Western Professional...

Just my thoughts on the matter.

Because practically all people living in Reunited Kingdom had Dúnedain ancestry. For an example Ereinion was High-King of Noldor even though his own ancestry was mixed of Vanyar, Noldor and Teleri. But I agree that low and mid tier units shouldn't have Dúnedain next to their name, it should be for high tier units only.

For common units, yea, I'd have to change my vote to probably Western. Dunedain doesn't fit for regular men.
Made the mistake of thinking this was for all units, not common troops.

I personally like the basic names like "Men at Arms", "Squires", "Militia", etc. The soldiers' coat of arms and banner would identify that they serve in the RK. The extra names just seem redundant.
