Default Auxilia Legions when conquered Italy?

With Pyrrhus, I smashed the Roman armies to pieces and I now (260 BC) control Italy, including Rome. The city just reached 24000 inhabitants, so I've just started to build an imperial palace. The problem is that I can't train latin legionaries, even after building those three auxilia buildings and barracks. Do I have to wait for Marius' reforms or will I be able to recruit them if my imperial palace is finished? I was looking forward to fighting with the latin legionaries instead of the boring phalanx.

What do I have to do? Build an imperial palace? Wait for Marius? I don't wanna wait sixty years until I can get my hands on those latin legionaries.

From export_descr_buildings.txt file in DATA folder in RTR v6.3:

recruit "aor italy hastati" 0 requires factions { seleucid, } and marian_reforms and hidden_resource aor_italy

Yes, you must wait for the reforms..offhh

Do I have to start a new campaign to make this code work? Damn, it really sucks.

i think you can simply delete the "and marian_reforms" part and continue your saved game.

I think RTR v7.0 will come out with a forced script for the marian reforms. THIS IS MY EXPECTATIONS NOT AN ANNOUNCE FROM ANY RTR MEMBER ( to get everything clear ). :original:
