So last winter we had a cold snap that caused bloggers and posters on this forum alike to go nuts and proclaim global warming dead. Famous anti science blogger Anthony Watts made this hilarious prediction in June.
Well I did. And here is the "thrilling" conclusionShould we expect a nice recovery this summer due to the thicker ice? You bet ya. Even if all the ice less than 2.5 metres thick melted this summer, we would still see a record high minimum in the DMI charts.
Bookmark this post for reference in September.
Not surprisingly their prediction were dead wrong. The ice minimum this year is the third lowest in recorded history; not exactly the "record high" predicted. http://nsidc.org/news/press/20100915_minimum.html
A nice surprise is that the article is still up; either they forgot or they have the guts to admit when they are wrong. Putting this particular anti science blog one tiny step above so many others.

Anyways lets us point and laugh at all the people who used this article as proof that the arctic was doing fine in June.
