    Default Bring back religion icon?

    Hey all, would it be possible to bring back the religion icon of a city on a strat map like there was in RTW BI ?

    Yeah i see what u mean and it's not possible in my opinion. I mean we could shrink the existing coins icon(of M2TW) and attach the cross with it but then even the Islamic factions will show that.
    No way to place in between a new one.

    It might be possible if you could find out which file tells the game to place the objects in that line. I checked in the mtw2.lnt file, in the menu folder, but didn't see anything there.

    Well actually i know which files have the info on it. It's the .sd files which can be edited by .xml files in the UI folder but that thing is like a Pandora's box very messy.

    The files from RTW are a .rsd type, what would I use to look at them. If I can find the entry in there, we might know how to add the code into M2TW strategy.sd. I believe this is the file that it would be inserted into.

    Well .sd files are rendered by .xml files in M2TW but i have no idea about RTW. All the logos are stored in .tga type and it's info on .sd files.

    Look through RTW's tools and tutorials for a convertor. Too many mods made their own not to have one.

    The city symbols are in the top right of stratpage_02.tga (and the christian cross is still there).

    these are the names for the symbols as per the SD file:

    Which does not solve the matter how they are calculated.

    Gigantus i thought m2tw.int file only deals with the graphical stuff in the game menu ans it's sub-menu) and the stuff related to UI folder is handled only by .sd and it's .xml files.

    Check the case of the faction symbols in the faction screen:
    The SD files determine where the graphic element scan be found.
    The mt2w.LNT file says where they will be put.
