    Default Pedigree problem!!!

whne i was playing Harad i notice some problem that's bothering me since- they are all ascetic!
i have benn playing Harad campaign for a while now, but none of my general had any marriage proposal at all, only addoption one, and only for my faction heir, which is even more annoying for me because i don't whant any random wierdo to become king once my current leader and faction heir died. is it just me? and there should be marriage proposal? or is the pedigree set to be the same as Tutanic campaign on purpose, if so how do i change that?
if not, guess i'll end my campaign after my king and arch duke died then....

I suggest you don't adopt any general and soon a bride will be presented.

similar, wierd, thing with my Gondor campaign: Denethor has Boromir, Faramir and Imrahil as sons but only Faramir get chances to marry. Boromir and Imrahil don't get any. Also adoptions only appear for Denethor and Faramir (in equal amounts). Dunno if its bug.

I'm wondering how many times this question has been asked.

yeah, i've seen another similar thread, with no satisfactory answer, but now there's a picture to prove my suspicion wrong, sp thanks Louis, althought i started out a new campaign do nothing for ten turns, still no proposal for anybody
also i've notice a waves of addoption and waves of bridal proposal when i was playing SE campaign, so i think there's more than "luck" there

    dog problem????!!!!

No luck at all, it's about the generals/settlements ratio.

Pedigree is a dog feed company, if those are the right words at least.

well if you start of with 3 settlements and 3 generals, then go on to capture 2 more settlements. The game will offer you adoption candidates until you have 5 generals ^-^

Or so it should be. I'm not sure what this ratio is, everyone says different nonsense about it.

If your general gets a dog, he will meet a nice princess when he walks it...thats where the pedigree comes in.

There is definitely some connection with number of settlements and FM's., but the ratio escapse me. If I blitz in M2TW or any mod (and back in the RTW/EB etc games as well) then within a few turns there's a couple of adoption offers occur, as if to accuse me for my non-RP behaviour. "Oh you're the guy that tortures the engine to win at all costs despite spoiling the atmosphere, can I join your family?"

EB also would give you more "Man of the Hour" offers, I imagine TATW does that too.
