"Our opponent is an alien starship packed with atomic bombs," I said. "We have a protractor."
Under Patronage of: Captain Blackadder
Godfather 1 & 2, The Kite Runner, Remember the Titans, Fight Club.... and I actually kinda like Casablanca (don't judge me)
Great lists so far (The Godfather trilglogy are definitely my all time favorites. I, III, and II in that order) I would only add:
-Brazil (Basically a spoof of 1984)
-The Dark Knight
-The Monty Python movies (Meaning of Life, The Life of Brian, The Holy Grail, etc.)
-Lawrence of Arabia (Long movie is long)
-The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal
-The Shining
-Full Metal Jacket
-Seven
You like Godfather II the least? Interesting.
I was gonna add a few movies but Ciabhan and Vuvuzela covered most of them
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...
I also really liked Inception.

Shindler's List
Platoon
Godfather
Der Untergang
Letters From Iwo Jima
The Dark Knight
The Exorcist
Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy
You'll have more fun at a Glasgow stabbing than an Edinburgh wedding.
Under the patronage of the mighty Dante von Hespburg
Seven
Fight Club
Pan's Labyrinth
The Matrix (though II and III were utter crap)
By the way, what are the best historical movies set in antiquity?

"Blessed is he who learns how to engage in inquiry, with no impulse to hurt his countrymen or to pursue wrongful actions, but perceives the order of the immortal and ageless nature, how it is structured."
Euripides
"This is the disease of curiosity. It is this which drives to try and discover the secrets of nature, those secrets which are beyond our understanding, which avails us nothing and which man should not wish to learn."
Augustine
'It', tehncially an American TV adaptation but it can be watched as a movie.
The casting of Tim Curry was brilliant. Yeah, Tim Curry.
War of the Worlds.
Inception
Pan's Labyrinth
'Ahh yes an authentic rastaclot weapon, as used by the rastaclot nobles in the court of King Bumbaclot '
Jaws 3D
The Village

Every other movie sucks balls compared to these.
