Weird Campaign Problems.

Hello everyone.

I was forced to share my problem with u because i noticed some weird things in game:

1. I don't have FMV movies linked with spies, assasins. They just walk into city or fortress withouth any movie. I'm sure i had FMV in Medieval II Total War...
2. Playing Harad I don't get any marriage proposition for my generals, only adoption ones...
3. I skilled my general and his bodyguard to gold experience level 3. But 3 turns later they while I was resting in the conquered city they just "lost" one chevron ! Is it possible ?

1. I'm sure the movies were removed for the sake of immersion.

2. Do you have any daughters of marriable age?

3. Yes, this happens when the general replenish lost troops. The new recruits don't share the same experience as the rest of the squad and does therefore "demote" it.

Ratzor, thanks for answer. So it seems problem no' 3 is resolve. But:

1. I'm certainly SURE that when i played 1.4.1 TATW i had the FMV movies in TATW !
2. Yes, i have. But is the marriable daughter has any influence on Wives proposition to Generals ?

I get them for Spies in 2.1

I have never seen the generals to marry.

In TATW you have generals and family members. A general has to be adopted first. Have the general become "The man of the hour" and get it into the family. Then he can marry.

If "FMV movies" are the videos about the assassination/spyng missions,
well I get them in TATW too (1.4 and 2.1).

Maybe may I suggest you to reinstall?

the assassination/spying videos can be disabled in the TATW.cfg and the medieval2.prefernces.cfg

Just like in real-life women don't find the right man after one turn. I think it's something with the princesess who have been removed, the princesses had charm points, the more the faster they would find a man.

You get the assassin and spy movies in TATW 2.1 but there is a box you can tick in game to disable them. Did you by any chance disable them by accident?

Strangely i am playing the Kingdoms Americas campaign and there are no Assassin/spy videos in that. I get them when i play TATW and i got them when i played the Crusades campaign.
