    Default Going back to Large......

i mention in other threads how i was going to start a new campaign as Julii playing with huge unit size and in M/M of dificulty...
now i just realized how different the game is if you play with those settings.
its 250 and i have already conquered all of northen italy. the Gauls are like little girls running away from my armies. they are not that aggresive anymore.

but what "killed" my apresiation for playing that campaign was when fighting in a bridge.
suddenly all gauls crossed the bridge and mi FPS went down to 1FPS... imagine that!!!!

my pc is fast and all that and i have never experience such lagging problems.

i REALLY hope LT will take into concideration people like me who prefers playing on large settings instead of huge and making it more balanced (if there IS any unballanced issue) however, so far in previous campaign there was not unballanced armies or battles.

anyways i dont know what you people think about it but im starting a new campaign, a challenging one in LARGE and in VH/M...

But huge are completely balanced, Large is only partly so...

    i dont know...
i played more than 5 campaigns (not finishing any ) and it has being all balanced and stuff.

is there is an unbalanced issue i would like to know
and if is a serious one, then il wait until version 5.0 when according to LT, large battles will be more balanced

Well, he wouldn't be balancing if it wasn't balanced would he?

?? did you just say that M/M wasn't challanging, but Vh/M is ?? To me that sounds kind of, well expected...

You can define just how much of a challenge through house rules.

I have to admit, every once in a while I'll back myself into the complete corner when I'm outnumbered. Although one time the damn AI refused to attack me when I was in the corner...

Exactly, I think this should be changed. Getting onto it...

I noticed that.. In my attempted dacian campaign (I dind't quit, I lost everything but my capitol and had every pass there blocked with forts that were under siege) I had a settlement that was under assult. The enemy had battered 3 holes into the wall (door and one on either side) They sent in thier generals, stupid macedonians lost 6 family members that day, and a unit of levy pikemen. After they were repelled, nothing came in. they say around with thier 6 archers shooting me for the next half hour. Then I got mad and retreated<sp> to the big hill in the center of the city.. To my amazement they followed me inside the settlement. The following brawl between my warbands and thier phalanx pikemen lasted another 10 minutes while I manuvered the falxmen around to thier rear.. I killed every last one of thoes over proud greeks that day.
