    Default Very Nice Violin Concerto

There's probably many threads about classical music, I just want to post a very nice violin concerto by Bach (probably my favourite and quite popular I believe). Feel free to post your favourite ones as well.

    3 parts.

Vivaldi's Le Quatro Staggioni is my favourite string piece.

But I like Bach and von Biber too.

I am someone miffed that people tend to cut off their taste for orchestral music at the year 1700. For me the 1800's, and dare I say the 1900's are rich with excellent music that at least for my tastes are so much more emotionally engaging. Heres a sample of from Saint Saens who wrote in the late 1800's and into the early 1900's

Just stretching the page even more, here's a non-western and modern piece, from Mao-era China.
