I just got Empire Total War....

I got a brand new i5 finally upgraded from my single core pent 4 computer. ( i know how to roll old school ) Well i got an AWESOME 27' monitor. My twin brother set it up and I'm using my old 19' LCD monitor as a 2nd monitor but they are not playing the same image just a side screen where i can place gadgets, teamspeak 3 that sort of thing. Well I reinstalled empire cause i can finally play it the right way and moves not take 3-4 mins lol. Well for some reason the game is not registering the left or bottom borders so i cant scroll that way. I'm a computer noob and my brother went home back across the country.... how do i fix this? lol Please and thank you in advance. how im feeling about this ( ) and i want to feel ( ) Thanks again if someone can help

p.S. even when i size the game down in window mode etc, it doesn't register the border of the game...

Do you have the screen resolution set to your monitors native resolution?
