    I know this may not be entirely helpful, but I think its worth pointing out. Brips and a friend have made a medieval music playlist, its very good. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=389093 Just posting it to see if it could help you guys at DoTs

    Thanks. I will go through it all at some point. We just made a major breakthrough and now every faction will have its own faction specific music.

    a music major breakthrough im big into music modding so this is great news

    This is beyond amazing!
    Also, I should send you guys some more Baltic music. I made friends with members of quite a few folk bands there =D

    mmm....major part of the music of the playlist is not medieval, some of them are not even historical.
    anyway, great music :-)

    i have been searching for middle eastern and north african (berber) songs i think they need a little pit of work like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-nF8ACz4k0 need to remove the electric guitar to be more medieval.

    Yeah, I like that Rachid Taha track but it's not the type of thing we could use for DotS. It's not just the electric guitars but also that it is a well-known modern song. We're limiting our choices to period appropriate historical/folk music. In some cases this means folk music representative of the period because there may not be any record of specific compositions.

    It's cool, but we actually have a lot of Arabic classical music with oud taqsims. We could really use more music for the battle map. Tracks with large drum ensembles would be best since a lot of armies used drums in battle for their psychological effect.
