I just installed RS2 and would like to start a campaign, but I'm going to my Dad's house tomorrow. So I was wondering whether you can successfully transfer saves, and if so, where the save folder is located for RS2.

If you've installed into the c:\program files (x86) folder the saves will be in the virtual store.
It will be something like c:\users\"useraccount"\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War etc.
