Having Bad Time Spotting Units
Dear Community,
I understand that the banners and green markers are removed from the game and replaced with good flagbearers and banners. I still find it very difficult to spot my own units though. Is there a way to make the unit markers reappear? I tried to fix this by modifying "medieval2.preference.cfg" but it only modifies new markers now. Could you please advise?
Best Regards,

Re: Having Bad Time Spotting Units
To change DLV's alterations to the .cfg you can check the DLV_ext.cfg.
But DLV makes no such changes, so good luck
And if you mean BB rather than DLV, then BB only removes the floaty banners and does not affect the green selection circles.

i wonder how often in the middle ages friendly fire happened. Im sure you wouldn't be able to easily tell friend from foe with 10,000 + soldiers around you fighting.

Dear Redguard,
Not telling friend from foe is ok. But I was loosing reinforcement armies. I began to appreciate flash friendly and enemy units button. I think I was posted hastly. I apologize for starting an unnecessary, without much consideration. I would still want old unit markers though.
