Installation problems, worked fine at first now won't work at all

Hey my first installation of the full 3.6 gb file went well but I had some problems so I deleted it. I made a new folder and put the game files in it, I still had a teutonic folder with the teutonic game called teutonic 1, the other Folder I named Call of Warhammer, so I put it all in and open it up and it says Medieval 2, and then it crashes after that screen.

Whats wrong with it, have I done something wrong? Do I need to overwrite the files in the Teutonic Folder instead?

Here are a few "remedies" you could try:

1) Copy your teutonic folder (while renaming the original) and install the mod over it.

2) Download the torrent here. It should help you with your issues.

Note: If you have Windows 7 (and to a lesser extent, Vista), look here. Also make sure you are running the mod through the .bat file found in the mod folder.

Well it didn't work, Im on windows XP, I highlighted all the mod files and moved them to the Teutonic folder clicked "yes to all" and I still have the same problem, it starts with the medieval 2 screen then it has a black screen and never comes up, can't even minimize it so I restart my computer. I already downloaded that torrent file to.

Do you have Kingdoms 1.5? If not, that maybe the issue.

Also, are you trying to run it on steam?

Im pretty sure I have Kingdoms 1.5, I have all the add on campaigns installed. How can you check what version you have? Im not trying to run it in steam. This is getting really annoying looks like theres no solution and I can't play this mod now.

Go to "Options" in the main menu and in the top right-hand corner you will see a number. That is the version of kingdoms you have.

Also, what other mods do you have installed?

Yes I have 1.05, checked in Americas, I keep having problems with my Teutonic installation and it keeps crashing I replaced it with a fresh Teutonic folder in the mod folder and it still messed up. Im going to reinstall the Teutonic campaign again and try again with Call of Warhammer.

I don't have any other mods installed.

Yes, try uninstalling the Teutonic campaign, delete all teutonic related folders, and then reinstall it.
