Rome campaign. M/M (ya I know I suck)
Ok well first off I had 35-45k income per turn and I had most of Italy -2 that Boii has there. I sent 3 full stacks to Carthage captured it as well as 2 city's south of it and several turns after that my income plunges down completely and I'm loosing 10-15k per turn.
Next thing I know I'm getting rioting everywhere in Italy even Rome rioted. 1 of the city's south of Carthage rebelled so I know have roman rebels to deal with there as well as my city in Spain rebelled and the roman rebels are there to.
I have Greek Allies bombarding me with fleets all over I have been mainly fighting them at sea.
I have Macedon assuming I started a Italy touring business so they have an army walking throughout Italy! Made me bit annoyed so i attacked them and now we are at war and they have another army in north heading south for same thing.
Now I have Averni(sp?) declaring war on me and invaded in the north with 4 and half stacks my army in the north is now unorganized due to trying to control the riots.
Lost 3stacks in Carthage area due to plunge of my income and also going to loose Carthage soon. 1stack in south but keeping it there in case Greeks decide to take the war to land. 1 stack at Rome just in case anyone felt lucky =( so i have no idea what happened! I went from a strong military position and economy to a crappy econ and a scattered military.
before going out and invading do you need to save up a ton of money or am i doing something wrong?
