I think he means a mod that takes place, or at least starts around 250-300 AD or so, then usual BC time period most mods do.

Roma Surrectum improves over the Roman times presented in RTW i think he now asks for an improvement over Barbarian Invasion like more accurate representation of Huns , deviation between Western and Eastern Romans , changes in Horde system etc etc.

I've just said IBFG has done a mod on Late Rome that has been in existence for years. SAI is very good and has a unique title system.


It also has historical late Roman units such as the Celtae Seniores and more I can't remember.

Anyway, this thread has served its purpose. There is Fall of the Roman Empire and IBFG+ its 4 submods and another one in development that are out.

Do you have any idea how long it takes to create skins, unit stats, and a working mod?
I think after 3 years of development (for free) they'll fix that needs fixing and move on to something else and it will be well deserved.

There may even be a move to a different engine. However, some of the developers may need and want a rest after the time that's been devoted to this mod.

No matter how much you appreciate their work on RSII - starting such a poll here is still rather unrespectfull than appreciative in my
opinion.

Only exception would be if you would offer to work on this yourself but then again still the wrong place.

It's not disrespectful per say, but these guys have just spent 3+ years of their life working on and perfecting this mod, they've had to go through a lot, hell one of their team died during development, and now that it's out, it's here... you want them to move on to something else?

In all fairness though, the OP's message isn't as bad as the title, which just screams impaitence and ungratefullness.

Sorry for not wording my initial thread properly (plumber by trade that’s my excuse).

Yes I am fully aware that the IB series of mods is in the BI era and they are extremely well done that said I don’t think there are any of them who come close as far as the graphics go.

As you can tell by my signature block I only play mods and one more will never be enough.

It was not my intent to disrespect anybody so don’t read into something that is not there, god only knows I have been putting up with work place bullies the last impression I want perceived is to be disrespectful and unappreciated.
