Hi guys

I currently play Egypt, or whatever its called. Papal states declared war to me and next i attack the crusader states. the battles went well and i conquer jerusalem and so on. The Pope calles for a crusade and soon sicily and venice declare war towards me. In the 33 turn nearly all katholic nations declared war to me.

Is it normal that all nation declare war to me or have i provoked them unknowingly? I like a great war but i hate when all go against me and they dont attack each other as much as they battle me.
I use Savage AI and battle as map are on VH

If the Papal States get more cities past Rome they often lead off Crusades with their own DoW.

I counter that by reloading and moving one of my units to a new position before hitting end turn but it didn't really happen often enough that I could advertise this as a surefire-cure.

Yes, usually all catholic nations join crusades, and that requires declaring war on you
