Does it require M2TW: Kingdoms? (crash on entering battle)
Hi I have v1.3 M2TW without Kingdoms expansion. I started a Broken Crescent campaign as the Romans but as soon as I entered my first battle screen M2TW crashed with an "unspecified error". Does it need Kingdoms for the mod to work, or is it just a bug?
Thanks!

No, it doesn't require Kingdoms.
What language version of M2TW do you have? What operating system? Where did you install the mod? Could you post your system.log?

Thanks for the reply, I have English version on Windows 7 64-bit OS.
I installed the mod into the Total War\Medieval II folder (the main folder).
System log file attached.

Addendum to the above:
I have tried again with it in the Total War\Medieval II\Mods folder and get the same error.
I have also tried entering battle with a different army and get the same error. The battle loads and I see a flicker of the battlefield for a split second before the game crashes and throws me out.
I have previously used the Stainless Steel mod and could do battles fine till around 1500, though after that I had a similar error to the above.
Any ideas? I'd really like to try a mod like Broken Crescent

I meant M2TW system.log, not Windows 7 log.
If you had similar problem with SS... have you reinstalled M2TW since then? Because if not, then total game re- installation may help...
One more thing - where's that "Total War" directory? On C:/? In "Program Files"?

In D:\Total War
I'll try reinstalling, though it was a fresh install from a week or so ago.
It wouldn't uninstall from the CD but bwahaha I deleted the damn folder lol. Reinstalling now and re-downloading a mod... I'll try Broken Crescent first!
