    Default Roman Post-Marian Bodyguards

I noticed that roman bodyguards don't upgrade after marian reforms.
Recruitable generals have them but family members stay premarian.
I opened EDU file and as i suspected armoured generals bodyguard unit is missing the "general_unit_upgrade" attribute.
I wanted to ask if anyone knows is this intentional or just a minor overlooked glitch.
    Thanks.

I wasn't talking about model that is used for general , i was talking about bodyguards not changing from premarian to postmarian after reforms
because the roman armoured general section in EDU is missing "general_unit_upgrade" attribute.

You were faster then me, Tone.
Yes i tested it. After the reforms kick in family members bodyguard unit remains premarian.
I added the missing attribute myself and they upgrade.

Thank you for your replies. I didn't wanted to stir some trouble or something.
The reason i asked was i wanted to know will i brake something in the mod if i change it myself because i am still figuring out how everything works.

If it is a bug, it's a good thing you posted it, so that the team will know about it.

Interesting. Might be an overlooked glitch....do you want to test that? Oh and don't forget to now tick the box for the postmarian generals in the launcher.

Which is why I said it might be an overlooked glitch and do you want to test it? Thanks!...the bit about the general was just a reminder to do that bit as well.

And does it require a new campaign even if you haven't hit the Marian Reforms yet?

It won't require a new campaign, but you may need to press the delete.rwm button on the launcher as I find that EDU changes don't generally happen until you do this in a campaign.

Alexius, do you give the unit both general_unit and general_unit_upgrade?

Only general_unit_upgrade, the other one mustn't stand there.

Would someone care to give any quick instructions on what exact line that needs to be added and where within the EDU?

    I only replaced "general_unit" with "general_unit_upgrade" attribute, i haven't it with both.
mp84, you need to open your EDU which is "export_descr_unit.txt" file inside data folder of your "Play ****" folder.
    Find this line:

    type roman armoured general
    dictionary roman_armoured_general
    category cavalry
    class heavy
    voice_type General_1
    soldier roman_praetorian_cavalry, 12, 0, 1
    officer roman_praetorian_decurion
    officer roman_cavalry_signifer_elite
    mount generals horse
    attributes sea_faring, general_unit, hide_forest, very_hardy, power_charge
    formation 1.5, 4, 3, 6, 3, square
    stat_health 1, 13
    stat_pri 9, 46, no, 0, 0, melee, blade, piercing, spear, 25, 0.38
    stat_pri_attr no
    stat_sec 11, 42, no, 0, 0, melee, blade, slashing, sword, 25, 0.26
    stat_sec_attr no
    stat_pri_armour 9, 12, 5, metal
    stat_sec_armour 4, 1, flesh
    stat_heat 2
    stat_ground 0, 0, -4, -1
    stat_mental 25, disciplined, highly_trained
    stat_charge_dist 90
    stat_fire_delay -350000
    stat_food 60, 300
    stat_cost 1, 1906, 673, 288, 385, 238
    ownership romans_brutii, thrace

Replace general_unit with general_unit_upgrade part( the one in bold ) and save.
    Thats it.
Sorry for my late answer, i was working the entire day.
