CA sad Rome 2 comes

Ok, i´ll hope this news are new and in the right forum, when not, please move.

First, we all knows that Sega had the last word an not CA or a developer from CA (you know kyran, the man who announces a much and at the end a lot is wrong...) but:

Ok, i think after shogun 2 we become a new setting or Medieval 3 and than comes Rome 2

And yet the original game is still on sale without a hope in hell of being playable on 99% of folks computers...so why no patch? They're still reaping money from the game.

Over the years I bet thousands of people have been creamed for a fiver or tenner just to find they've bought an expensive beer mat

Same with Med1...still in stores, remains unpatched and unplayable...daylight robbery.

Shoddy stuff.

, STW works fine on my windows 7 laptop. Hell I'm playing the 1st roller coaster tycoon made in 1999ish which works fine as wel

Doubtfully. They already have a good enough engine to last several TW games without major changes in eye-candy quality...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Rome II in less than 3 years.

Rome2? This would be great but only with a good engine, an AI which is improved and with other additional stuff. Rome2 will show us if CA is able to release a real good RTW2 with history background. If not, mods like RS2 or EB2 will beat them in every category...
