Dear fans, our good Italian friend Markus has just made another preview of the Tsardoms beta, which also include some new information about the campaign: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHllFc-DbIg
At the moment, it is only in the Italian language with no subtitles, but he will put English subtitles soon.
I’ve personally being in touch with him in the past couple of months to give him some info and provide some materials, and as soon as it is playable enough, I’ll provide him in the future with an closed alpha of the campaign for a video review.
Oh so u are working hard
Good to know!
This game deserves more attention. Maybe you guys could post some updates about progress more often in order to keep forum alive just a suggestion
Between Machiavello, The Great Conflicts and Tsardoms, Medieval 2 is looking at a real quality mod revival! Good to see that a closed alpha is even being mentioned. The decade long process may yet be reaching a release! Keep it up guys. I'll be (mostly) patiently waiting as always.
Do u have to balance unit stats?
Cuz i tought stats are only determined by equipment and typh?
I don't understand your question. The unit stats are based on Point Blank's RR/RC system and is based on unit type, quality and equipment. There is lots of guides on it if you are interested.
yes that is what i meant u are basing the stats on that system so i wonder is it perfet or dies it need balancing?
Unparalleled art work, my friend, are they both pavisarii?
If yes, do you know (historically) when they switched from oval to pavise shields?
I'd offer some help but as I'm already tied in Titanium and The Great Conflicts 872-1071, I can only offer my moral support and wishes for...

Thanks Paleologos you are doing great work for the community as you are sharing all your work. Maybe we can find a way to collaborate somehow even if we adapt some of your resources.
The pavises generally become popular in the early XV century outside of Italy. In Italy they already exist since the XIII century.
Any news? Very much looking forward to this!
