    Default Problem using launcher

I thought I'd done everything correct, although I may (well, must be otherwise it would work, wouldn't it!?) be wrong.

I've installed and run the setup, and opened the launcher. Smooth so far. However, whether i select rome.exe with the vanilla disc, alex.exe with the alex disc, any faction - it always comes up with errors that look like these ones (diff. specific details in the errors depend on what exe. or faction i tried):

Hmm thats odd. That error normally means that the launcher isnt in the same folder as RS2. As your RS2 folder wasnt in your RTW game, it would show the error.

Now, with the files in the RTW folder, the mod should be installed, and the correct files in place.

If you look in this now merged folder, can you see 4 .bat files? If so, try using RS2_RTW. This should bypass the launcher temporarily.

I had a look, but it seems to have updated itself... what should it go to? ('target' and 'start in')

there are 4 .bat files, so that's in place. When you say the launcher should be in the same folder as rs2, do you mean the launcher shoud be IN the rs2 folder or the rtw folder?

Sorry, im going to be really annoying here.
Is it possible to drag RSII folder back out?

I wasnt clear enough with what i meant

When you've pulled the RS2 folder back out, copy the contents of the folder to the RTW folder

You dont drag the RS2 folder in there, you drag the contents of the RS2 folder into the rome total war folder, it should work fine then.

Thats why i amended it maybe? -.-
I realised i hadnt worded it properly.
Oh well, copying the contents of the file across into RTW should fix the problem.

Your RSII folder should look like this:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

If you install RSII onto your 'Rome - Total War' folder you 'break RTW - meaning you can't play vanilla RTW or use it as a base for other mods.

If you move the folder make sure that you change the path that the RSII launcher uses to the path of the new folder.

The three error messages usually indicate that the install that they point to does not have RSII in it.
