To reduce spam, I am moving all posts here which are off-topic, rather than delete them. Also, I will post a link to this thread, to be helpful.

Please continue your discussions here, where it is appropriate.

Ground rules:

• No politics discussions. Take it outside.
• No religious discussions. Take it outside.
• Do not bad-mouth other players/members here.
• Do not attempt to circumvent the rules of mafia/other games you might be in by posting here about said games in illegal fashion. If a game requires no out of thread communication, or requires you to not perform such and such a behavior there, it applies here.
• Don't use curse words/swears unless the ENTIRE WORD is bleeped out with asterisks or an emoticon or something.

Example, do not post:

j*********s!!!

If such a word existed and was a curse word, it is basically the same thing as posting the word. Feel free to substitute "darn" or "Jimmy Crackers".

This thread need not be stickied. You should be able to find it easily enough, and there are already too many stickies.

I approve of this topic, especially useful for getting to know other players better, instead of thinking their in-game behaviour is what they are like out of game.

We're doing awesome, and welcome welcome my friend.

There are games in sign-ups right now, though I should warn you that our games get slightly more complicated than the ones you might have played in church. But, there is one vanilla (basic) game running, so we do do those once in a while.

Hey and welcome onboard (though I'm also quite new here).
Anyway, I also got into mafia via RL games, got hooked there and then somehow found the mafia section over at totalwar.org and have been having fun there ever since. It takes some adaptation compared to the RL games, but once you get the hang of all the special roles that are possible this way, it's really even more fun than in RL.

So, sign on up for a game.
