Oh yes, now those Byzantines look considerably better indeed. Incidentally, it's spelt 'Kontaratoi', but otherwise, very good. And you haven't made the mistake of many mods and made the shields too small. I think that the Pronoiarioi should also have a kite shield (oh, and 'pronoia' was the name of the concept of the new soldier, like 'chivalry' is the name of the concept of the knight).
