Thread: LME4 Download and Installation. Cumulative Patch 4.2 with Add-on released 11th March 2015

I will admit, the base 34 morale of units under Napoleon's command in the base game was a little silly (The engine max for morale is 40, which represent units inspired by general, inspired by guards, on high ground with clear numerical advantages and flanked by allied units), and the nerf was needed for balance's sake. The -1 in the Peninsular campaign is just an example of the little things which always slip through development.
Therefore, I conclude, that Valve should announce Half Life 2 Episode 3.

I'm sorry, the saved games are gone now, and I donbt remember specifics.. just that in the campaign map I saw enemy's units with negative morale.. anyway, I didnt regard it as a "problem" to have enemies with negative morale thought it was a normal part of the game

Can someone maybe confirm though that bankrupcy has a negative effect on the nation's units' morale, not just civil obedience?

Sometimes, megaupload is not available. Just wait a little bit and try it again.

Why can't these mods ever be easy to install? 901 step process every time.

This is a piece of cake compared to RSII

Just feels like you're trying to drink from a firehose when you take a break from the game and return. So much to get your head around...a one click installer would be awesome.

thing is its the same process for all of them, they are hard the first couple of mods you install, but once you get used to installing them its easy, i prefer the manually installed mods over the auto installed ones any day, plus I like adding things to the user script(changing startpos,files,db..etc) to my liking , so in plain words ill choose a manually installed mod over a automatic one

modding by nature is a bit harder but satifying... Installers are hard to implement correctly... it's not that it's intentionally made hard it's just that the nature of modding has always been this way... at lease with games that don't normally support mods...

Civ 5 was just one push of button to add mods... built in support

Fallout 3 very easy with the fantastic tools the developers have provided the community... built in support

TW a pain in the arse... no support (.)

ain't that the truth. I've been used TW mods since i bought Rome six years ago. I was never able t get RSII to work on my PC. Very disappointing.

    Hey Iutland,

I love your mod. I tried out all the big ones and sticked to yours, combining it with good old AUM of course.
    Keep up the good work!

Also, I want to +Rep you, but can't find the option.

I think you need to have more posts to be able to rep, something like 25, you'll then see a little green "+" near the "report" button.

    That makes sense. Thank you.

+Rep in advance for the LME Team!

I also had a problem while downloading the file.
I then re-dowloaded it and all worked fine.
If only it was simpler to install, there would be no difference between earth and heaven!!
I would like to rep, but can't.

Sorry for the general nOOb question, but what/where is the user.script? (I'm using Vista) And specifically, what is meant by step 6 of the installation process above - "...when your user.script matches the installed files you want to play with." I think I've successfully installed this mod into my data folder because now there's the new LME PACK files in there, but when I start NTW through the steam app I still get the vanilla game.

You can find it by showing hidden files, but I recommend downloading Mitch's NTW Data Checker:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=396175

Once you have opened it, simply add in the mods/submods you wish to activate and the number of the campaign you want to play, as specified in the instructions, then save it and you're ready to play.

I had a problem with my user script, and the Data Checker helped greatly, hope it does likewise for you.
