Default Gun & Pike in Early campaign?

In ss 6.3 can you progress right through to pike and gun units in the early campaign or are you limited to the fuedal knights?

And do the mongols or timurids appear in the early and what year?

As far as i know, you can get all the technologies unlocked in the early campaign.
Never played as far as musketeers though.

Every thing is available in early campaign, and mongols are 1214-1220, timurids are 1350-1360

AS above, everything comes to those who wait, in the early campaign, the game is now based around 'event' recruitment and not 'building' recruitment - although you must have the building also, but have to wait until the event unfolds before the building can actually produce something. Which is a touch weird as you can build all the canon foundaries up to its highest level before you can recruit even the most basic of canon (usually the bombard).

Uh, there's peeps with handgunners in my game, yet NOBODY is able to recruit Feudal Knights, FFK, or even Mailed Knights... or Mailed Sergeants or anything. Miles? nope! Norman? f'geddaboudit!

Oh yeah and I'm sailing the seas with Men at Arms that have 12 armor.

You have RR disabled don't you? It's broken. Feudal Knights disappear after the full plate event, which is fired when you disable RR. You will never see them.

i don't see teutonic order in the early campaign (6.3 RR/RC), but it's available in custom battles. are they only in the late era? if they are, are they emergent in the early campaign, like mongols and timurids?

Yes the TO is only available to play in the late era campaign. And yes they do emerge in the early era campaign.

Don't expect them to do a whole lot though. They spawn with 2 stacks of men then walk around for a bit while their food stocks get low, then proceed to get beaten :/

However I was playing Poland and had taken most of Lithuania so that might have something to do with it
