    Anybody out there enjoy listening to Joe Dassin? A talented French singer, also sings in several other languages (but best are in French in my opinion ). My parents used to listen to him a lot when I was little, and it might have just rubbed off . He died unfortunately at a relatively young age (41) due to heart attack.

    I love Joe Dassin, I was groomed on him from birth pretty much. I was very surprised when I found out that he was actually an American.

    did your parents listen to him as well?

    yeah I recently found that out as well...but his education was in Europe I believe and lived in France for quite some time. Regardless, his French is very good.

    Parents, grandparents, everybody. I'm sure everyone in the Soviet Union listened to him.
