greatest of the meditaranian is a mod with the graetest nations near the meditaranian.
I am not a great modder or i would do it myself. i am just a huge history fan and reacher for a few mods i cant moddel or scripte or code just thought this was a cool idea for a mod and would put it out their if you would like to help please do. The map will hopfuly go east from eastern spain to mesipatamia. and north from the northern sahara to northern italy.

I can do skinning but you've got to get your history straight. And I want to know what time period you are aiming at, or is this just another fantasy mod?

This is a mod with historically correct factions yet they are from diffrent times and i have my history staright they are just from diffrent times all in one made up time ok. If you had your history straight you would know that. I know a ton of history im a real history freak i have readed tons of history books very large ones and watch the history channel and i have goten A+ in every history class i have ever had. so i guess it is a fantasy mod with historically correct factions no trolls elves nothing like that if you want to help skin you can thanks for offering.

Mycenae and Corinth occupied the same general territory, so I'd suggest cutting one of them (preferably Mycenae, but it's up to you which one) and replacing it with Taras (Greek city state on southern Italian coast).

Make the Spanish Greek City States faction into an Independent Greek City States faction and give them Greek territories that don't have another faction allotted to them, like Cyrene, Massilia, Rhodes, etc..

Cut Troy and replace them with a barbarian faction like Thrace. In addition to the fact that we have virtually no concrete factual information about the Trojans, the Ionian Greeks occupied the area that the city of Troy was located in in their zenith.

You also should point out what era each faction is going to be from, for example is Macedon going to be the pike-wielding conqueror of the Earth or the small, isolated regional power it was 500 years before.

EDIT: I think this should be changed from Minoans to Crete. I believe someone already said it but Minoans were wiped out by either Sea Peoples or Mycenae and if this after the time of Mycenae then there is sure as hell no Minoans. So maybe make it just Crete.

I would like to see this mod just go all Sea Peoples though! Imagine just having a whole mod based on the mysterious Sea People and devastating and pillaging across the Mediterranean. You wouldn't have to do any real research as so little is known. Making this all Sea Peoples would be so cool! I mean you can keep all these other mod ideas and factions in but just rename the mod and base it around the Sea Peoples.

Who agrees. If not thats ok - this mod will still be along the same lines bu seriously though. Sea Peoples FTW!!!
