Default export_descr_unit...editing reverts back to default

When i Edit a unit, it doesn't save how I want it to, it reverts back to its default settings. It has only happened as soon as Roma surrecturm starts back up. any ideas?

Tried the "read-only" trick and it didn't work. Rome-total war is saved in My Documents so it has nothing to do with the UAC.

I tried saving the file to my desktop. deleted it from data. edited on desktop. put it back in data. restarted roma surrectum. reverted back to same attributes. weird?

(This shouldn't be an issue, but) Are you on Vista? I am, but my game location isn't in the program files.

Hey there, i figure id make a SN and clear this up for ya. Enter in data folder, next into important stuff folder, next into single player folder, theres the export_descr_unit. And edit away...

remember to make a copy of the orginal, and remember most orginals are the most balanced.

Just to explain a few things on the why.
The launcher automaticaly copy a few files from single player or multiplayer in important stuff each time you tried to start a mp from the laucher.
