    Default GB, 13C, R, U

This topic contains questions and things that I known necessary to form the questions about GB, THE 13 COLONIES and the REVOLUTIONS(and others unclasified things)!

1st KT. I know that if yo play as the GB you will have a mission later, given by the 13 colonies through you can incorporate them in your faction(you have to conquer maybe 3 teritories to make the present 10 colonies, 13 colonies(correct me if I am wrong)).
2nd KT. At a moment the collonies will revolt againt you and Boston will begun the USA capital.
3rd KT. You can change your guvernament on certain factions if you get a revolt(if the lower class revot you get a republic and if the upper class revolt you get a monachy(constitutional or absolutte, depending what governament you have)).

1st Q. When the 13c revolt: after you pass the colonies mission(right after you thake the last teritory) or before, or it is random?
2nd Q. It is a way to evitate the American revolt?
3rd Q. When you play whith British, whitch govenament do you like, and when do you prefer to change it(if you chose to change it(I think that if you whant to change to republic you should do this after you chrush the Americans, from the obvious reasons)
4th Q. What are the requirements to get a revolution trough science research?

Sorry the language mestakens(if are ones).

    Use spell check, Christ...

Well, the 13 colonies are all under the protectorates control at start, besides Georgia. The Carolinas are 1 province, and I think Delaware or Maryland is part of Virginia or something.

Okay, now as for the questions...

Colonies revolt when you have a bad enough government in the home territories. I think its tied to approval. Additionally, leaving the mission alone to long will encourage a revolt.

    No idea what your asking.

Constitutional monarchy is very good for the long-haul, as industrialization isn't a problem, allowing you to build up your provinces to ridiculous levels without worrying about unrest. It also lets you keep one leader from early on and get him some good traits. That said, i rarely play GB.

As you research enlightenment tech you increase clamor for reform in the lower classes. Once your capitals unrest is in the red the populace revolts, giving you two options-put down the rebels and keep current gov, or help em. Researching all the techs wont automatically start a revolt, it will just lead to insane clamor and practically force a revolt.

Sorry the language mestakens(if are ones).
    1) The 13 colonies are like any other faction in the game. They will only revolt if the population are unhappy, whether it is because of too high taxes, or foreign occupation, etc. The only difference is that if they revolt, the rebels become the US, instead of just generic rebels.
Rebellions are not scripted, but are influenced by in game factors. It is entirely possible to go a whole game without the US emerging if the colonies are governed well.

    2) Sorry I don't understand the question. Do you mean is it possible to cause the American revolution? If so, then yes it is. Just raise taxes high enough in the theatre that the provinces rebel and form the US

    3) In my opinion, the Constitutional monarchy is the best government in the game. It has a good balance between public order and research rates. In my campaigns as Britain I never change.

    4) Revolutions aren't caused by science research (although they can contribute). Revolutions occur when your capital region rebels (i.e. three or more turns below 0 happiness). This can be caused by numerous factors, e.g. taxes, wars, and penalties due to research. If you want to force a revolution, destroy all happiness buildings in your capital and raise the taxes as high as possible (remembering to exempt all other regions so that they don't rebel as well). When the revolution occurs, side with the rebels and capture the capital to get the new government.

    Hope that helps.

I think the first question is asking what causes the colonies to rebel if you dont control them. I thought it was tied to your government.

territories only revolt if you treat them badly, so playing as GB, when you get the mission completed, it might be the american revolt never happens.

What i encountered once, is that new york was captured by the iroquos, and then revolted, so it formed the USA.

So if I don't put high taxes on the Americans and I conquer the territories surrounding the colonies(I guess that the Americans will be happy if they are at safe) they will never revolt?
