I am in desperate need of help here..
Hey all, i fubared my copy of Rome (not a new story by any stretch of the imagination)
I was playing around with the folders, and ended up deleting a lot of stuff....so i tried un install from the Rome CD - Nothing happens, i try from Add/Remove programs again nothing, so i delete the folders, registry entries and all other RTW based stuff and still no solution appeard.
I really am desperate here!!
Thanks in advance

Maybe it's a bad idea, but have you tried just manually deleting the RTW folder and all it's files? This happened to me as well and I fixed it by doing that then re-installing RTW on a different drive and it worked.

Maybe the key is still in the registry somewhere and needs to be removed, but I dunno, just a thought. Dont mess around with your registy though if you're not used to it, you can mess stuff up bad.

Man I know it's frustrating, like I said I had to re-install it onto a different drive. I asume you only have a C drive?

Try a third party uninstaller. If you haven't already deleted all the folders.

None of those will work. There are back ups for nearly every file and there are very long list of files. I'll ask my dad later to day how he managed to uninstall it and report back..Hold on!
