    Default Malware Hijacks TWC posts

Every time I post something here at TWCenter, the following is added to the bottom of my post

    "be173787-7a1f-4786-b865-2b45b0b7f66b
    1.03.01"

It does not reappear upon editing it out after posting, and it doesn't happen on any other fora. I have a comprehensive antivirus firewall plus noscript. The problem appeared yesterday, i haven't been on any dodgy websites since i usually stick to only bookmarks.

A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

What browser were you using when you had the issue?

OK. Next try, use the basic or intermediate interface rather than WYSIWYG. I remember a similar problem in the past that was solved via that, but I don't remember what the explanation was though.

Just imagine you are talking to a preschooler who has no idea how to work a computer.

I don't know what an interface is, let alone a Wizziemajig.

At the moment, when you post, you see this jazzy editor that presents your post, as you write it, exactly as it will appear when you've finished. This is WYSIWYG, or What You See Is What You Get. To get to the standard editor, follow this:

My Account > Edit Options > (Miscellaneous Options) Message Editor Interface

You currently have this on Enhanced Interface, which is the third of three options. Change this to Standard Editor, which is the second option.

If this works, then I'm not sure why there was an issue. Sim mentioned something about Opera not fully supporting the WYSIWYG editor, but I don't know which browser you use.

I was and am using firefox. I've changed it to the intermediate option and it seems to have stopped.
