    Default last thing to be done! need a scripter for my mod Claimants,heirs & Conquerors

    Claimants heirs and Conquerors on the mtw2/kingdoms platform Claimants, Heirs, and Conquerors (ChC) final step:
    skinning is taken care of! all I request in the final "push" of this mod is someone who can do this scripts:

    1. which restricts events by culture
    1. which restricts events by faction

    a few y/n events

    Event 1 .
    First pop up ( simple historic event, first turn)
    Description: We now have the Choice to continue in traditional feudal customs and remain with a feudal agrarian economy or embrace a new economic trend and become one based on Mercantilism.
    (event ends) window closes)
    Next pop up (y/n event)
    Description: Shall we remain feudal agrarian? Y/N
    Feudal Agrarian +1 to farming and public order
    -1 to trade and pop growth
    If no third pop up is triggered
    (Y/N event)
    description: shall we embrace the new economic emphasis on Merchant trade Y/N
    Mercantile +1 trade +1 pop growth -1 farming and –1 to public order
     
    Event 2 (y/n and random throughout the game)
    Feast and Celebrations
    We have a surplus of moneys in our holdings it would be wise to hold feasts and celebrations to increase happiness amongst the commoners and maximize our trade revenue
    If
    yes we pay $10000 to host the event
    no we spend nothing but anger our people
     
     event 3 (y/n and random throughout the game)
    marksman challenge
    many young amateur archers and marksmen feel their skills need to be exposed for all to see and the best of these contestants be rewarded for their prowess and be enlisted to our militias
    If Yes we pay $8000 to host event, four quality units at capital
    If No nothing but we lose out on locating the finest marksmen and archers in our realm
    Marksman held
    Enlistment will rise as these contests will help us find and recruit the most promising candidates to ensure a fresh and re-vitalized military. Plus these contest will be yet another event which will give the opportunities of trade and happiness which public proceedings entail.
    Not held
    By not holding these contests we have missed out on the opportunity to maximize the quality of our Militia’s. Perhaps in the future we will be wiser to take advantage of potential events of this nature.
     
    Event 4 (y/n and random throughout the game)
    Knights challenge
    tournaments can be held which keep the professional soldiery of our armies active and fit.
    Keeping ready and on alert prepared for instant deployment if necessary. Also increases general happiness as everyone gets to see their refined skills in action.
    Jousting
    Foot swordsmanship
    And other weapons used on foot in melee
    If
    Yes we pay $8000, +1 to melee and cavalry
    No nothing but we risk not having our forces at their peak performance
     
    Held
    A grand tournament for the professional military, will be held giving these skilled and veteran troops the opportunity to hone and further refine their talents and skills of warfare also enabling them to “Show off” for the pleasure of the commoner.
    Not held
    By not holding this event we risk our veteran militia’s becoming “rusty” and ill prepared and this will also lower their moral and leave the common people skeptical on our military stability and prowess
     
    event 5 (y/n) and random throughout the game)
    roads and infrastructure repair
    description: we can choose to put some our excess capital towards infrastructure or not
    y/n
    y= -8000, = +1 trade, +1 happiness description: “we have elected to perform repairs and construction updates where needed in our realm, this insure the efficiency of trade and add to the ease and quality of life for our people!.”
    n= 0. –1trade, -1 happiness description: “ we have decided not to update and make repairs hopefully the money saved will out weigh any economic loss or discontent.”

    & possibly one more if it can be scripted??

    Coronation celebrations
    (same as feasts & celebrations but gets triggered only & at every time you get a new faction leader)
    cost 15000 florins

    everything modified already! except for new skins and textures all text,ui, cultures, sound media, all aspects of the map, all banners just need to finish re-assigning some units in the edb and edu but most of that is done! and new skins and texture for those units
    here is a breakdown of what is needed:
    Sicilia (formally the Aztecs) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Florenzia ( formally russia) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    The Normans (formally the timurids) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    the Duchy of Cornwall (formally scotland) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Casa De Navarre` (formally Sicily) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Corona De Aragon (formally Hungary) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Le Comte` Bordeau` (formally England) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Le` Comte` Burgun` (formally Denmark) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Le` Comte` Brabant (formally Poland) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Imperium Af Denmark ( formally the turks) about 15 units textures and skinning needed
    Mali (formally the Mongols) about 10 units textures and skinning needed
    Haus Von Saxony (formally The Byzantine Empire) about 10 units textures and skinning needed

    Sultanate of Tunisia (formally Egypt) about 15 units just skinning
    Venetia (formally Venice) about 15 units just skinning
    Genova (formally Milan) about 15 units just skinning
    Le Dauphin` (formally France) about 15 units just skinning
    The Caliphate of Tangiers (formally the Moors) about 15 units just skinning
    Haus Von Bohemia ( formally the HRE) about 15 units just skinning

    all of these factions have been completly modified for text, culture, voice types
    and unit ownership for instance: all of the four French factions, have the samr roster which is the vanilla French roster

    I am not trying to be overly ambitious! here I am simply in request for modifying existing models of units unless someone would consider that (because I do have new unit ideas) but for now I just would like to find some help with this!

    since you arent changing any models (yet) it might be easier for you to take a look at this and simply do it yourself. in that lesson B.ward teaches how to modify an existing texture.

    you are correct Huen` but not completly~ I could as you say devite energy to this area of my mod but some facts:
    1. I already have invested hours,days,weeks,months into this project
    2. my mod is a sophisticated and proffessional culmination of a lot of hard work! I have already completly built from scratch (that means everthing culture, voice types, units, symbols and other ui) several of the mods factions
    3. this is where I ask for help in a specific area of my project which I cannot afford to focus on! (for me to learn these things and be able to produce quality work would take me another year!) and this is not where you give advice on what I should do! are you immplying my tremendous work! I have already done on this mod is irrelavant! and I have know right to be asking this! I must be stupid or something but isn`t this a "classified section"

    calm down chachie. i only say that because there are 10 other people in this same forum all looking for the same thing you are. your problem is easy. it will take you 10 minutes to understand how to retexture those skins. im not saying that what you have done already is irrelavent or anything like that. im saying that odds are good that you wont be able to find someone to help and you will be forced to do it yourself anyway. also that you dont have anyone helping your now so you as well start. each texture that you do is one less that someone else has to.

    please some one be willing to help! I have done almost every other of the facets of the mod myself already! and I am hoping for some skilled help! so as a release by new years can be a realistic goal! if some one were to accept this task and help it would allow me the freedom to concentrate on creating a whole series of events for each faction exclusively the player only sees the events for his specific faction these events would be focused and very detailed about the history, cultural customs and daily life in said given faction but to take on the task of re-texturing and re-skinning the units is a monumental task for a complete novice like myself in this area of modding if I end up doing it myself the mod will be lucky to be released by 2015

    I have worked very hard on other aspects of the project so if help is given you know it is to someone who earned it!

    I really need someone who can do the textures and anything in the modelsDB ( which I do not think anything is required other than texture re-assigning because I am not using anything other than the Vanilla models) I believe I could handle the basic skinning

    the way it stands now I have 4 of the 21 factions in game skinned & ready for deployment! & I can manage on my own 5 more
    as they still have their original vanilla rosters but the remaining 12 is were I need help!
    specifically, this entails some one who can code the models db. for me (and just tell what uv maps I need to copy & paste where and rename) thereafter all that is set up I will have no problem in skinning the final 12!
    so thank you! I am almost there just a little more help

    how many models are in the final 12? i can code in the BMDB and generate UV maps for you.
