nobles income

i have just installed ss 6.3 and am unsure about how the noble income system works.
I see a bunch of numbers when i click on the faction button.
i cannot see an faq about this system in the forums, can someone please direct me to it. Thanks

Ive always been pretty confused how the system works aswell so I just disabled it in the setup menu. The realism it adds isnt worth the trade off of confusion in my mind. The Grim Reality thread has some information on the system but still, I never really wrapped my head around it

Details are here. It's BGRIV_E in 6.3, not IV as it suggests somewhere in 6.3.
